Magic Wand Remote - A class gadget
Every now and then I see a gadget that has class written all over it. The Magic Wand remote control is one such gadget.
It looks like a magic wand. It has no buttons. Just wave the wand and it will control your audio visual device
(eg TV). Yes you do have to train it, so it can understand which gestures map to which remote operations (eg changing
channels, volume and power on and off etc). Once programmed, it is very impressive to use. It is even better
when you hide your normal remote from others in the family. Check it out at kpower.com.au

Soical Endeavour Prize
I wanted to see how young entrepreneurs in the making could apply their skills to helping charities with new fundraising
programs. Therefore through my foundation (KAZACOS FOUNDATION) grant to the UNSW Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
the Social Endeavour Prize Competition was established. The finals night was held in the Kpower Kafe in May. I
would like to thank the students and charities that participated, it was a great night. Read all about it at Social Endeavour Prize
